I just have to say that I really hate frag plugs. I can see why they were invented, so the person fragging could set the plug down in something like an eggcrete and it would hold the plug. But once the plug goes into a regular reef aquarium, it's completely worthless, IMO. I have about 5 different corals that I've bought over the past year or so that are on frag plugs and I have been struggling with all of them ever since I bought them. They don't stay where you put them and I'm always digging them out of the sand or from behind rocks. I've finally decided that I've had enough, I'm cutting the 'foot' off of all of the plugs. Then maybe I'll be able to glue the remaining disc to a rock or something. Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me? |
