(1) I can heat and cool the room. I have a 2500 watt in wall heater for the winter and a in window air conditioner for the summer. I try to keep the room right around 80 degrees so the tanks don't have to fight the enviroment. I have a 300 watt heater in each of the sumps for tank heating if necessary and they have kept up so far. I have noticed during the hot weather this summer that the heaters have been running more than in the winter. I think it is from the a/c keeping the floor area cooler and cooling the sumps. (2) The broodstock tanks are drilled on the back. The new growout system in drilled in the bottom. It was just a change in design. I can post more pics of the plumbing of the 2 systems if you want. I like the tanks drilled in the bottom better as they are easier to clean. All the tanks of each system are all drilled the same so they are 100% interchangeable. All I have to do is shut off the water, pull the overflow pipe to drain the water and move or clean it. (3) The original owner of the house used to be a county sheriff. He liked to drink his beer and have the guys over to watch football. His wife did not like these things so he built the saloon to have his buddies over. |

How ultra totally completely cool! I so want a clownhouse! Except, with seahorses! Ok, so those are 10 gallon tanks? How did you drill them? |

| I saw this build a while ago. Definitely amazing. Any chance we can see the different setups you have for each stage of the larvae? Once we get all of our clowns going and need more room we are going to build a room in our basement for the babies simliar to yours. Just because I loved it so much :) I'd love some more close up pictures of overflows and filtration if you could get it? |

Suzy, Yes all the tanks are 10 gallons each. With the 10g tanks none of the glass is temperd so you can drill them anywhere you want. I used a 1-3/4" glass hole saw that we bought on the web and then used 1" bulkheads. Pretty easy once you do it a time or 40
:) I bought a scrap piece of acrylic to use as a template so all the holes were in the same place. I might have some pics of when we were drilling them, I'll try to find some. Crystal, I have a bunch more pics of the plumbing for both systems that I can get posted. I'll start another thread in the DIY forum in the next day or so. There are a few things I would change though so when you decide that you want to build yours let me know and I would be happy to discuss the things I would change. This is the second table like this that we have built. I help design this style and we built the first one for a friend. I then made a couple of changes before we built mine and I would change another thing or two. Just by chance where did you see this build before? I thought that I had only posted it in the PNWMAS forums. Dave |

| Cool! OK, I have to drill a few 10s, I think! Could I just get a bit for my handy dandy dewalt cordless drill? It works great on acrylic, but I haven't tried glass yet. These would work great for grow out tanks. So, all the tanks go to one sump and same the same water, thus few water changes? |
