I love my Onyx Percs! Not sure what you are referring to with the Snowflakes. If you are referring to Snowcassos, let me know! I just got some Picasso Percs, and she also has some Snowcassos.
What are Snowcassos & Picassos Percs?

Picasso's have "abstract" markings, usually the middle and back bars connect. Whereas the snowflakes mostly white. I would think the Snowcassos are the same as Snowflakes, just called something different from the seller.


Lorraine, I saw your video on WMAS. Scott said he wished he could hug fish, they are so cute!

Amie, if your onyx percs every do breed, I very much would like a pair!
They do fine when they are young, before they start pairing up. If the tank is big enough, one set will pair up and the others will stay in a group on the other side of the tank. I've kept them in a group for up to 8 months by just taking out the new pair that has formed and letting a new pair form. They stay small that way.

I sure hope they breed! Remind me that you want one in a year or so. I will definitely be posting their progress. I'll post pictures of them soon. The snowflakes should arrive on Thursday morning. I'm getting 4 of them, I haven't talked to DaveO about this but I might try and talk to him about trading me one snowflake for 1 Rods. Then he and I could pair up Rod's with one of the snowflakes. But I really need to get rid of my other 'normal' clownfish to make room. Does anyone want a cheap pair of spawning maroon clownfish? How about a pair of perculas? They spawn about every 4 months. :blink:

I can't wait until we sell this condo and get a house. A fish room! That would be nice. I would love to have onyx and snowflakes and babies. Oh well, one day! And then I will have to learn the tricks and get set up ideas from everyone here.

I have a 55g tank for the pair of Allards, who also accept my pink skunk as one of their own.

In the 125g tank, I have the onyx perc and two black percs in one corner, then the three newbies.
