| Clint, this is awesome. So what you are saying is that every time you order snails, they come with larvae? Are they swimming or crawling around? |

| Yes they are swimming but I think they are at different stages. When I added new SW both time they released swimming larvae. But I have seen them lay egg ribbons so I wonder if there is an asexual cloning option under stress. |

They are in a tank that I add phyto to, to grow amphopods and mysis, so I do add phyto every day. But the larvae must have come from the main display, which was 3 tanks away! When I set up this tank. I added dry rock and sand, but I did add some new macro algae spp, so maybe tey came on that. I want to think they came from the main display, because I have so many snail egg ribbons in there! They are super tiny, and I am not completely sure what they are, but I will try to get a photo....No promises, though! |
