| I picked up several species of non-photosynthetic gorgonia over the past several weeks. I know that Suzy has been able to keep them alive so am looking for advice. Currently, they are under an outdated mh in a frag tank. My plan is to change the lighting to pc but in the mean time I am blocking out the light with a reflector over the top so they are shaded. I bought marine snow and am currently switching between stirring up the substrate and feeding with marine snow. |

I have had luck with a species that I think feed and is photosynthetic. I feed it brine shrimp, cyclopeeze with a turkey baster. You can see it grab the food. A very hardy coral, IMO. Kind of a funky growth pattern so it does add a focal point because of it's interesting shape. I'll snap a photo in the am and we'll see if they are the same or similar. |
