Elysia diomedea or lettuce nudi will chomp down on mostly green algae species - It will graze on live rock. I purchased some fromChad yesterday to help control my green hair algae (what i believe to be Bryopsis) and I have observed it munching down on fully grown strands of Bryopsis. I believe it sucks the juice or cloroplasts from the strands and uses is as sort of a solar panel to absorb light. They are way cool and I have penty of bryopsis for the to eat. I'm still researching the breeding end hopefully I we have as many nudis as Amie. They lay a nice ribbons of eggs on pieces of liverock.
