You can rinse them in cold fresh water then you must put them in a solution of heavy salt water(just use rock salt) before drying. Spread them out on newspaper or an old sheet in the garage or a shed until dry. Bag them up and stick them in the freezer for best long term storage.

Test hatch some before you go to all this work. if you don't get a decent hatch they may not be worth the effort. Hatch rate usually improves after drying and time in the freezer.
