Is anybody stripping the babies out of these guys at say, 21 days? Iknow some have stripped eggs at day 5 or 8 or later, with limited and labor-intensive success, but what about stripping the males once the fry have a chance at survival. This question is rooted in a male that carries for 27-30 days and sometimes "underperforms" with clutches of 10-15 fry. Just wonderin. I've done that before, Ed. I've pretty much stripped them from days 3 all the way through to days 23 with success. If you can see tails, you can take them and they will survive. Just start feeding them bbs.
