Suzy...BSD has f/2, don't order from FAF if you don't have to. They have the resting cysts as well. But I'm sure they are the L-strain, which you already have.

Clint, I've got tons of rotifers, you are welcome to get some from me. Anyone else is welcome to them as well. Don't buy them for $20 for a 4 oz. bottle, that's nuts. I'm still working off of the same rotifers I had years ago.

Oh...one more thing, I heard a really strange thing the other day. Rotifers change size based on the temperature they are being raised in. I'll have to ask what makes them smaller..warm or cold.

Aren't regular rotifers small enough for a tiny fry?

I don't know. I hope so. I think my new O marina may be smaller, so maybe it will work for the tiniest of fry.

Are tiggerpods too big for new fry?

They seem to be for my H erectus. When I add them, they are not eaten quickly anyway. They are still there the next day.

Hi Amie

Silvio, I have never heard about the salinity reducing the rotifer size. That means that my rotifers should be really small because I never top-off the water. ;-)
