Opistognathus aurifrons

I am trapped at work, have a moment to start some research. I got 6 of these little guys yesterday. They instantly went into digging them selves under a rock. So, when I fed out everybody quickly before I flew to work, I did not see them eat. They seem very small, are differing sizes so I think they are wild caught. The store owner said they came from Haiti.

I will snap a phot tomorrow (probably of the rock where they are hiding!)

These guys are too cute! I will get a pic at feeding time tomorrow, so you can see how cute they are, but this photo is precious to me. They way they peer out from their hiding place:

Dang, these guys are adorable. If they end up pairing up and you need to start getting rid of some of them, I'd love to buy a couple of them from you. I could set up a 10-gallon really fast.

You would not believe how cute they are! Now they know me so they come out of their spots as soon as I come in the room. 6 little faces peeking out, then when food goes in, they all come out to play! I have not seen any courtship yet, but I think they may do that stuff in private....
