No, not yet! How often do you think they will spawn?

I have to seriously get some new tanks set up. I have 3 other spp in with them right now. Either I have to get more tanks going, or quit going to the fish store to find more! I just have to quit looking at their stock.

Dang! They fell off the pipe. I had to work yesterday, so I put them in an upside down DP bottle, and put some tetraselmis in with them, added a gentle bubble. When I got home, they were under the tube and not tumbling. So, I thought they were dead. I cooked at them in the scope this morning and they are not moving. Except, one little tiny heart beat! Their little hearts are still beating!

I can't tell if they are alive or not. They seem to have hatched, but do not seem to be moving....

Ok, so I thought these things were gone. I left them in the tumbling DP bottle, and I thought the O marina had taken over. I could see millions of O marina, and with a spy glass, a few various pods. I dumped half of the water into a warm water pod culture. This was ~ a week ago. Today, I looked with the spy glass, and there are some really weird pods in there! With teeny tiny tails! I do not dare put one under the microscope. What if it is a goby?!!!

Even if it's a goby, just be really careful with it and don't have it under the scope for very long. I've done it tons of times. As long as you have enough water and are gentle, it's fine. That would be awesome if it was a goby. Your scope picture above is fantastic, btw.

You should be marking your calendar when you see new eggs and when they hatch. That way you get a better understanding of how often they spawn and how long it takes before they hatch.

Good idea. I messed up their tank so I am sure I have set them off schedule. I hope i didn't mess them up forever!

How do you get a drop of something so tiny? They are not very dense, not like the rotifer or O marina cultures.

Well, crap. They are not baby gobies. These tiny small red things are another pod. But, I did get a cool pic of them doing the wild thing! Which was hard cause they didn't want to be disturbed!
